Digital Raindance Is ARMY STRONG!

In 2009 I had the pleasure of creating an award-winning local digital/social media campaign with my friends at the U.S. Army Miami Recruiting Battalion. The campaign, which was named Non-Profit Media Campaign of the Year by the Hispanic Public Relations Association, featured two of the most popular Hispanic radio personalities in South Florida tandem jumping with the Army's elite Golden Knights skydiving team. The campaign created a firestorm of awareness among targeted 18-34 year olds in South Florida, was focused on the benefits of a U.S. Army career and propelled the Miami Battalion to achieve huge increases in Hispanic soldier recruitment. The Golden Knights strategic initiative was a core element of a broader grassroots community program, which also included the establishment of the U.S. Army South Florida Advisory Board. I'm proud to have helped the Miami Recruiting Battalion recruit the Board's founding members and help it expand into the elite advisory board that it is today. As a proud board member,  I got the opportunity of a lifetime this week to tandem jump with the Army's Golden Knights in South Florida. Exhilarating, breathtaking, heartpounding are only a few of the adjectives that best described this incredible experience. The Golden Knights are only one of many reasons the U.S. Army has a great deal to offer young men and women interested in a character building, lifetime rewarding experience. Thanks to the Miami Recruiting Battalion team for making The Digital Raindance ARMY STRONG!  HOOAH!
